"Dusty Nu Dawn"2003 AQHA/ABRA Dun GeldingIf you are looking for that wonderful, true blue trail companion, you will want to meet Dusty. He is bombproof as a horse can get, absolutely loves the trail, will go all day over any terrain, water, bridges, rocks, hills, you name it. The ideal horse for competitive trail riding, mountain trail competitions or just to plain old ride. Dusty was started in reining and on cattle as a colt, but is too lazy and bored with arena work to be any good at those pursuits. However, he is very broke and gentle for anyone to ride, so makes a great occasional lesson horse for visiting kids and beginners. He has also been used for sorting, drill and even jumping, but again much prefers the trail, and should have a home where trail riding is his main job. Dusty will drag logs, pony colts and has had ropes thrown off him. Rides western, english, bareback and double, with a curb, snaffle, side-pull, hack or halter (or nothing). Great ground manners, loves grooming and attention of all kinds, good in a stall or pasture, jumps in the trailer, clips, ties, bathes and is an easy keeper. 100% sound. Dusty is 15hh, stocky and correct with great bone and excellent feet. May trade/part trade for finished cutting mare. $6,500
"Sister Joaquin"1994 AQHA Grulla MareSis has been a broodmare all her life, and is a great mother and producer of nice colts. I have recently started her under saddle, and she is doing great. No buck in this mare at all, she is very athletic, smooth trot, wants to stop, very soft and easy to get along with. Sis a very quiet and submissive mare and should make a great trail horse and broodmare for a quiet, soft handed rider. Her sire, Freckles Nova, is an NRCHA money earner and sire of money earners. Her dam is a producer of NRCHA money earners. Approved home only. $700Sold Horses |
