Hollywood Skies

Sky was foaled at 1:30pm on Mar. 2, 2005. He is a keen headed dun gelding, with loud dun factor and no white markings. Sky is by ABRA world champion reining horse and reining horse sire Hotrod Holi. He is out of superior reining producer Miss Modern Two. He is certified with NFQHA as 86% foundation, paid into the AQHA Incentive Fund and ABRA registered. Sky has had over a year of professional reining training and has a huge stop with a lot of rate and 'pretty'. Sky has been started on cattle as well, and with some finish work would make a fantastic youth or non-pro horse for NRHA or NRCHA competition. I have been showing Sky on the NFQHA circuit this past summer (2009) and he has earned points in trail and ranch trail, ranch riding, ranch reining, ranch cutting and dun factor, including the Novice versatility reserve hi-pt at the June show in Goldendale, WA. We have also been competing with the Cascade Cowgirls Equestrian Drill Team, which is a blast! In addition to being an awesome show horse and a great drill horse, Sky is a dream out on the trail. He will pack a novice rider over any kind of terrain and is the best baby-sitter horse you could ask for.
